CHRISTMAS TIME!!

HELLOOOOOO EVERYONE!!

it's been really quiet here on our end BUT we would like to wish everyone a very HAPPY NEW YEAR AHEAD!!

This year has been a really quiet one for us just kinda regrouping and busy with work and everything else.. But i personally am looking forward to the new year and looking forward to gigs and going to new places to spread our music and our passion for it..

Being at the end of an AMAZING year that just passed i am reminded of faithfulness, grace, love, new experiences, lasting friendships, new ones that were made and memories that will live on with me for the rest of my life. The awesome thing about living in the moment is that you get to enjoy that moment for what it is and carry it forward to the future in your memories. I've been learning to not rush everything and everywhere but to take in the sights, sounds, smells, thoughts, feelings and just taking in as much as i can.. you never know when it will end or if you'll ever be in that same moment again..

LIFE is too short to be lived without thought being put into it. So what are you doing about your now?

well.. i shall check in again soon i hope.. and hopefully with news of maybe a gig sometime.. hehe.. till then.. be safe everyone!

A Sound

There's something about music that seems to pull people from all kinds of backgrounds to common ground. An attraction that is so hard to ignore that it brings us together and unites us even though we might disagree about everything else.

For me, the best part about music is just that. Making music that is able to bring people together. To a place where we see past what is on the outside just like how we appreciate music through the melodies that serenade our ears and the rhythm that unites our heartbeats. A sound that would ring through and leave a mark.

Music, Friends & Food

Seems just like yesterday that we were on a plane and heading off to Bangkok.. So much excitement and expectancy in the air you could just feel it! The thrill of being able to travel for music and all that you love is quite an indescribable feeling. We reached and enjoyed ourselves as we always do! The people, food, sights, sounds and just everything in between was something to make you stop and just be in that moment..

We've been pretty quiet recently but not to worry.. We're still here and there is a new sound I feel coming soon.. So keep your eyes peeled and your ears ready for it.. Till then.. Its me signing off with this really short update.. :)

After practice sessions

Last week we've been going to Tune Studio since they've opened after renovation. Finally! A studio so close to home that it's practically behind our own backyard. How cool is that? On top of that, the equipments, lighting are perrfecto. As usual, the drum seat is the most coveted seat.. You can almost always see Jane C drumming to That's What You Get and today you get to see Yin Har instead! So this was after one of our practice session and um... Yup, you're hearing a Selena Gomez.

When it's time for Laila

It's been a while since we've last came out to play. It's quite exciting when we get to perform among friendly faces and our ever supporting friends.

There were so many bands performing that night that even our schedule were pushed back later than expected. Which worked well for me because I get to eat dinner instead.

It's coming to an eventful year-end, I must say. Had practice, photograph session, magazine interview with the band leader, few booked dates. Wahweewoo.

Kuantan didn't manage to happen cause of reasons..

JaneC is having a jolly good time in the U.S of A...

the rest of us have been cathing up through mamak sessions!! =)

but yeah.. it has been months since the band has

gotten together to make music and to just play together...

but i guess all the busyness and commitments have made it hard...

but i'm hoping some music time will come soon!! =)

keeping up with the time and everyone's schedules is tough..

but it's moments like these that makes you want it more eh??

do you realize something??

that just like raindrops falling from the sky...

we seem to look past the little things in life.

have you ever stopped to notice the wind blowing

or the sound of the birds singing in the morning??

it's something so beautiful yet so easily overlooked..

what more the people in our lives..

sometime we don't realize how much

we appreciate something until it's gone..

but why should it be that way??

live every moment to it's fullest and let nothing slip past..

living with the future in mind is an awesome thing to do..

but sometimes we forget to live in the NOW..

so here's to living every moment with

a conscious appreciation for the people around us..

it might be the person that serves you in your favourite shop,

your neighbour, your parents, siblings, grandparents,

aunts and uncles, friends, the ice cream man,

and random people you meet everyday..

treating people with respect and appreciation

is never something we can do without...

so try it sometime.. you never know when a smile could change a life!!

When we headbang.....

...hairs will fly. Check out janeC's dragon ball effect. Love the whole scene. We had lotsa fun during this gig, which was at subang parade a few months back. Thanks to Yamaha for allowing us to 'play' the equipment on the day. Yup, confirmed can still rock even though it's not our gear. Til our next time, we will see you again! (If not, in your dreams :)

HERE IT IS!!

hahaha... after almost a week of total and utter busyness... i finally have the time to sit here and write something!! hehe... =) but incase you're wondering... that's not the surprise.. =P

it's been almost 2MONTHS!! since the band has met together in the studio and we have all been busy with our own lives that we hardly have had the chance to even hang out together much too... (this is basically an "i miss you" note to my bandmates) but yeah... the exciting thing is that..... we might/most probably will be heading to the studios to record sometime soon but not like super soon la.. if you get what i mean.. hahaha... i'm not really making sense but hey!! i'm REALLY EXCITED!! but first we've gotta start our engines again and brush off all the dust so that we'll be ready to rock when the time comes... hehehe...

so i guess that's the exciting news that i wanted to share... if it's not up to your expectation then i guess this next thing would probably be then... hahaha... a few weeks ago.. i suddenly had the inspiration to edit one of our band photos from our photoshoot!! (very very random coming from me) but yeah... it turned out pretty NICE!! atleast that's what i believe la.. haha... so here's a little something to show you that FREE TO FALL HAS NOT DIED... and are still ready to rock!! haha... so until next time!!

It was one good quickie

Amazin Amaezingz. I think this is by far our latest gig we've played, a midnight snack. We had a wonderful time at Quickie, the set was so comfortable that you could slip right in and cozy up. Thumbs up for the down-to-earth hosts and production crew. Too bad we didn't take much photos while we were at it.

Thanks to our friends and family who stayed up to support us when they were supposed to be sleeping..

I recommend everybody should have a Quickie, after all that's just what the doctor ordered!
